Upcoming book launch (February 2024)
Mildura Seasons, a bilingual picture book in English and Punjabi, is set to be released in late February.
The story takes you on a poetic journey across Mildura through the four seasons with stunning watercolour illustrations by a local artist, along with translations into Punjabi provided by a local community member.
It is part of a wider project by Mildura Rural City Council to produce a series of bilingual books for the area by working with community members. The books will be available to buy locally and online, and also through the library network.
I was fortunate enough to have my story selected to be developed into one of the books.
I had so much fun working with the team for this and can't wait to see the full collection of books produced. Proceeds to go to local community groups around Sunraysia.
